Pros of Pesticides

A pesticide is a chemical that farmers spray on plants. It kills insects that eat the plant and make them go bad. It also prevents you from getting famine. Famine can cause you to starve and die.

One benefit is increased food production due to not as much plants dying. Another benefit is more food for people and animals. Also another benefit is lower food prices.

This is a benefit because is more food safety. This is because the pesticides are killing stuff like insects that can make it so if you eat the plant you will get sick, or die.

The icide part of pesticides means killing.

A pest is any living thing that has a negative impact on humans.

The most popular pesticide brand is Syngenta and Bayer CropScience.

Famine is when there is no food for you so you can starve or die.

The Trolley Problem

The Trolley Problem is an experiments were there is a run away train go for 5 people on a track but you can turn the track onto another track but it will kill 1 person. So usually people would pick to turn the lever but some people called deontologist decide to not due to murder. If you didnt decide to kill 1 person you would be a consequentialist.

Things That Are Morally Wrong

These items on the list is always wrong thereis never an instince where this is fine. These actions are universally wrong. The definition of universality is:

The quality of being true in or appropriate for all situations.

Another way to say this is that these are moral principles these are universal rules that guide people’s behavior. The name for ethical based on moral principles is deontology

Deontology is an ethical theory that uses rules to distinguish right from wrong. Deontology is often associated with philosopher Immanuel Kant. Kant believed that ethical actions follow universal moral laws, such as “Don’t lie. Don’t steal. Don’t cheat.

There are other theories of ethics which dont have moral principles such as consequentialism. Consequentialism is a result for example if a consequentialist had to pick beetween letting 2mil people to drown to death or 1mil people to kill they would pick killing 1mil but a deontologist would pick to let 2mil people die due to murder. Moral principles is a universal rule to guide peoples behavior like murder, tresspassing, and theft are not alowed.

Intro to Philosophy

Definitions

Philosophy literally means Love of knowledge as taken from ancient Greek. It is usually defined in terms of its sub disciplines such as the study of knowledge itself, reality, existence, art, ethics, value, mind, language and many more.

Philosophy is a serious field of study that is taught in universities by professors. There were many famous historical Philosophers including Aristotle, Socrates, Plato, kant, and Descartes.

Some of the major fields of study are:

  • Epistemology: the study of knowledge itself.
  • Metaphysics: the study of reality.
  • Aesthetics: study of art.
  • Ethics: the study of right and wrong actions.

Critical Thinking

A better definition for Philosophy is the act of creating theories which explain phenomena and identify correct human action using reason, science, and empirical observation.

  • A good definition says what is and isnt that word.
  • Hypothesis is an explaintion that could be true or false.
  • A theory is a hypothesis that is true.
  • Philosophy is to explain what cant be explained using science.
  • A phenomena is a event or state of affairs.

Donald Trump Almost Assassinated

Donald Trump got very close to getting assassinated because the shooter shot his ear and if he had moved his head an inch it would have shot him in the brain. The person who tried to kill Donald Trump was Thomas mathew crooks. Secret Service snipers saw the shooter but got commanded not to shoot yet so after the shooter shot the Secret Service snipers finaly shot.

FBI stands for Federal Bureau of Investigation. The FBI is a government agency that investigates crimes.

CIA stands for Central Intelligence Agency. The CIA gathers info on other countries.

Secret Service protects the president and the vice president. It was founded in 1865 as a branch of the USA Treasury department.

I think this is very very bad but it is good in a way because donald trump would probably get more votes. This is very dangerous because it could have started ww3 if it was an inch to the left. The reason why this could have started ww3 is because ww1 started because of franz ferdinand assassination the president of Austrian which made 40 million people die and thats also part of the reason why ww2 started and history aways repeats itself.

Normaly I dont like classical music but I did like 2 of his and those ones were from 4 seasons. 4 seasons had a bunch of songs and 2 of those I liked. they’re called summer 3 and winter 1. I didn’t like the rest.

These songs are about summer, fall, winter, and spring. These were played so the people could feel like they’re in that season.

  • what Midjourney is a website that makes ai make images. The way to generate the images is by typing what you want it to make. This is also called prompting
  • where The headquartores of Midjourney is in San Francisco.
  • when Alan Turing had the idea of ai so he did somthing called the Imitation Game in 1950-1956. The stuff that happened in 1939-1945 was ww2 and Alan Turing was part of the military and would hack the Nazi’s radio so he and te military could hear what they were saying. Midjourney became a thing in 2022.

The way to calculate how many years ago Archimedes found out about specific gravity. Would be the year + the number before b.c so its 2024 and Archimedes found out about gravity in 250 b.c it would be 2024 + 250 = 2274 years ago.
